Join the Worldwide Grocery Store Inventory Management Team in reshaping the future of grocery shopping for our customers. The North America Inventory Management organization is seeking an Instock Manager to join the Shrink & Quality team. This role will support shrink reduction and inventory health across the grocery network, with a particular focus on Sub Same Day and Grocery Fulfillment Center (FC) operations. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Inventory Management, Category, Operations, Finance, Business Intelligence and Tech teams to identify shrink drivers, translate data into actionable insights, and drive actions that improve inventory health and reduce waste.

Key job responsibilities
- Own recurring analysis and reporting of shrink performance, identifying site-, category- and ASIN-level drivers and escalating emerging risks.
- Deep dive inventory defects including expiration, excess inventory, shelf life, case pack, ordering and operational drivers.
- Support development and execution of shrink-reduction initiatives across SSD / FC.
- Partner with category and site teams to convert analytical insights into clear actions, owners and timelines.
- Track initiatives against expected shrink savings and drive actions through to closure using established mechanisms.
- Support weekly and monthly business review mechanisms, including insights, commentary and follow-up actions.
- Identify opportunities to simplify or automate recurring reporting and analytical processes.
- Build effective working relationships across Inventory Management, Operations, Category, Finance, BI and Tech.
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs, meet deadlines, and effectively manage competing priorities.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks.

A day in the life
You will start your day reviewing inventory dashboards and key metrics to identify areas that need immediate attention. From there, you might dive into demand forecasting models, adjust purchase orders, or partner with vendor managers and supply chain teams to resolve inbound issues. You will document your findings, share recommendations with your team, and contribute to weekly business reviews. Expect a mix of independent analytical work and collaborative problem-solving sessions throughout your day.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
- 2+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
- 2+ years of with Excel experience
- Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes, and make data-driven decisions

Preferred Qualifications

- 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience, or Bachelor's degree
- Experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence, or experience working with Excel, reporting tools, and large-scale data mining tools, such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
