Meet the team:

We’re looking for a Procurement Business Intelligence & Analytics professional who will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision making across Dexcom's Procurement function. Our team partners closely with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations leaders to transform data into actionable insights that drive strategic sourcing decisions, optimize spend, improve supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks.

We are expanding our analytics team and looking for a highly motivated professional who is passionate about data, curious about business challenges, and eager to help shape the future of procurement analytics.

In this role, you will support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of procurement reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics solutions. You will work closely with global category managers and stakeholders across direct and indirect procurement to ensure leaders have accurate, timely, and meaningful insights to support business decisions.

Where you come in:

- Partner with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver analytics solutions that support strategic sourcing, supplier management, spend optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.

- Collaborate with procurement leaders and global category managers to define KPIs, reporting standards, data requirements, and governance practices across direct and indirect procurement.

- Serve as a trusted analytics partner and subject matter expert by translating complex data into actionable insights, recommendations, and business stories that influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.

- Develop and maintain scalable dashboards, scorecards, and self-service reporting solutions that provide visibility into procurement performance, supplier outcomes, savings realization, compliance, and value delivery.

- Analyze procurement and supply chain data to identify spending patterns, cost reduction opportunities, supplier performance trends, supply chain risks, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

- Support the integration, transformation, and validation of data from procurement, financial, and operational systems while ensuring data quality, consistency, integrity, and adherence to governance standards.

- Monitor and communicate performance across key procurement measures, including spend analytics, cost savings and value capture, Purchase Price Variance (PPV), supplier performance, contract compliance, claims liabilities, category performance, and other critical business KPIs.

- Provide analytical support for strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, executive business reviews, and evolving business priorities through both recurring and ad hoc analyses.

- Drive reporting automation, analytics modernization, and self-service capabilities by leveraging industry best practices and emerging business intelligence technologies.

- Contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen procurement analytics capabilities, improve decision-making, and advance the organization's digital transformation objectives.

What makes you successful:

- You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; you have experience developing analytics and reporting solutions using Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms, and possess strong SQL skills with a solid understanding of data warehousing and data modelling concepts. Familiarity with statistical analysis and analytical programming languages such as Python or R is a strong advantage.
- Experience supporting Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Operations organizations. Experience developing spend analytics, supplier scorecards, procurement KPIs, sourcing dashboards, or performance management reporting.
- You have experience working with ERP, procurement, sourcing, or financial systems such as SAP, Coupa, Oracle, or similar enterprise platforms. Understanding procurement processes, including sourcing, contracting, purchasing, category management, and supplier relationship management, is an advantage.
- You are detail-oriented, excel at analyzing large and complex datasets, and are committed to delivering high-quality, accurate insights, identifying patterns, risks, root causes, and opportunities, and translating findings into actionable recommendations that drive business outcomes.
- You can effectively manage multiple priorities, balance competing deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
- You possess strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to build trusted relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and leadership levels. Experience supporting executive-level reporting, business reviews, and strategic decision-making is a strong advantage.
- You are an effective communicator who can tailor complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You are curious, proactive, and motivated to understand the "why" behind the data, using analytics to uncover opportunities, challenge assumptions, and support better business decisions.
- You continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, reporting capabilities, and business outcomes, combining technical expertise with strong storytelling and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to occasionally maintain overlapping U.S. business hours, including availability from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time.

Experience and Education Requirements:

- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 8-12 years related experience or Master’s degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2-4 years of experience.

Flex Workplace:

- Your primary location will be your assigned Dexcom site, but you may work part of the week from a home office. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically within an hour’s commute).

The monthly base salary for this position is from €4,809.58 to €6,224.17 gross. Final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
