Your responsibilities:

As a Lead Test Development Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development and deployment of manufacturing test solutions for complex electronic products. You will work closely with product engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and global engineering teams to ensure robust test coverage, high equipment uptime, and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and drive innovation in test methodologies, automation, and data-driven quality improvements.

- Lead the design, development, validation, and deployment of manufacturing test systems and strategies.

- Define test coverage requirements and ensure compliance with customer and internal quality standards.

- Develop hardware and software solutions for ICT, FCT, End-of-Line, Boundary Scan, Flashing, and Automated Inspection systems.

- Collaborate with product development teams to improve Design for Testability (DFT).

- Analyze test data to identify yield losses, quality issues, and improvement opportunities.

- Support manufacturing launches and production ramp-up activities across global facilities.

- Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions for test-related failures.

- Mentor and guide test engineers while promoting engineering best practices.

- Work with suppliers and equipment vendors to define, procure, and qualify new test equipment.

Your background:

Key qualifications for success in this role include:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Several years of experience in electronics manufacturing test development.
- Strong knowledge of test methodologies including ICT, Functional Test, Boundary Scan, Flying Probe, and End-of-Line testing.
- Experience with automated test development using LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C#, or similar programming environments.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits, PCB manufacturing processes, and embedded systems.
- Experience with manufacturing quality systems and statistical analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Design for Test (DFT) principles and failure analysis techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
