Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of law firm litigation experience, with a preference for candidates who have employment litigation experience and a strong interest in representing employers in complex workplace disputes. Experience handling administrative charges, drafting agency position statements, and advising on employment law compliance matters is a plus; however, the primary focus of this role will be litigation.

This associate will work closely with leading employment practitioners on a broad range of matters, representing and defending employers from emerging companies to Fortune 500 organizations in disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour class and collective action claims, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and other workplace-related issues.

Responsibilities

- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responses.
- Conduct fact investigations, witness interviews, document review, and deposition preparation.
- Assist with hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Support clients in responding to administrative charges and agency proceedings, including matters before the EEOC and state and local agencies.
- Collaborate with attorneys across Greenberg Traurig offices and practice groups on complex employment litigation matters.
- Provide employment law compliance advice as opportunities arise.

Candidates should possess a strong academic background and superior legal research and drafting skills, as well as demonstrated fluency with AI tools to support their practice. Candidates must be diligent, detail-oriented, proactive, team-oriented, adaptable, and personable. Candidates must be admitted to the Colorado Bar and should be willing to participate in community and professional organizations as part of professional development.

The expected pay range for this position is:
$210,000 to $240,000 per year 

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.  Additional voluntary programs include:  voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance.  Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
