Personal Care Attendant

But if you're dependable, calm under pressure, and good with people one-on-one, MaineTouch LLC is hiring Personal Care Attendants in York County for in-home client work in and around Alfred, ME 04002 - and you might be exactly who we're looking for.
Pay is $17.00 to $19.00 per hour based on your experience, certifications, and availability, with increases available based on performance and reliability. We offer full-time and part-time positions with day, evening, and weekend options. You tell us your availability - we work to match you with clients in your area. Mileage reimbursement is provided when applicable.
In this role, you'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes, following each person's individualized plan of care. You'll assist with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene, support mobility and safe transfers, help with meals and household tasks, and provide the kind of daily companionship that keeps people connected and stable at home. All care follows each client's individual plan, and supervisor support is always available. No prior experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or direct support professional is required - we provide training and help you complete PSS certification within 60 days. CNAs and those with existing credentials can start right away.

Requirements:
- Age 18 or older
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Reliable transportation (valid driver's license preferred, assignment dependent)
- Cell phone for documentation and scheduling
- Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily care tasks
