Job Description

Ameriprise Financial has an exciting opportunity and we are looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst who will be a key Finance partner supporting the Ameriprise Advisor Recruiting organization. This role helps drive advisor growth by delivering rigorous financial analysis, evaluating recruiting economics, decision support, and strategic recommendations that help evaluate recruiting opportunities. The position partners closely with several Business partners including the Recruiting team, Field Leadership, and Senior leaders to support strategic recruiting decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

- Perform financial modeling and Cost Benefit Analyses (CBAs) to support advisor recruiting opportunities.
- Analyze advisor recruiting deals, payout structures, offer economics including profitability and cash flow.
- Partner with recruiting leaders and field management to evaluate advisor packages, acquisitions, and growth opportunities.
- Conduct advisor ramp-up and performance analyses using historical and projected business data.
- Provide financial recommendations and decision support for recruiting offers to senior leadership.
- Support special projects related to advisor recruiting strategy, compensation programs, and business growth initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a financial, analytical, or related role.
- Strong command of financial modeling and analysis using spreadsheets and analytical tools.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear, decision‑supporting analyses and recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to management.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with Business partners and build strong relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in building relationships that influence and establish credibility across an organization – to business partners, senior finance leadership, other finance areas, etc.

In-Office Collaboration

By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $71,300- $98,100/ year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
