Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Network Operations Center Analyst to join our ever evolving Business&Technology Services team within Global Payments Europe and help shape the future of global commerce.
This is a small team based in Prague, and our office location is close to the subway.
What you’ll own
- Own the monitoring, analysis, and optimization of system and batch processing performance to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
- Own the development and delivery of performance reporting, analytics, and insights that support business and operational decision-making.
- Own the administration and continuous improvement of automation tools, processes, and reporting solutions across production environments.
- Own cross-functional collaboration with IT, application support, and business teams to resolve issues, drive performance improvements, and support successful production deployments.
- Own operational readiness by supporting business continuity, conversion/deconversion activities, and maintaining proactive communication with key stakeholders.
- Operating within a 24/7 shift pattern, rotating between 12-hour day and night shifts.
What you’ll bring
- Language Skills: Czech or Slovak and English ; communicational level
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Information Technology, operations, or the bankcard/payments industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify performance trends and support issue resolution.
- Experience working with production support, system monitoring, automation, and operational reporting in complex technology environments.
It’s a bonus if you have
- Experience supporting production operations, system performance monitoring, or automation environments.
- Knowledge of mainframe and/or distributed systems, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar reporting and data analysis tools. Proven ability to apply analytical thinking, sound judgment, and collaboration skills to solve moderately complex operational and technical challenges.
- A strong ability to partner with stakeholders and teams to understand needs and remove impediments, showing curiosity, empathy, and a clear focus on delivering value to clients and end users.
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset — you take accountability for team effectiveness, continuously improve ways of working, and encourage experimentation and innovation within Agile practices.
- Experience fostering high-performing, collaborative teams, ideally in cross-functional or distributed environments, promoting inclusivity, psychological safety, and a “one team” mentality.
