Position Overview

AutoCAD, the leading software for Computer-Aided Design, is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer in Test intern to join our team to work on the test automation project for AutoCAD Toolset products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn automation harness and test cases development with AI Tools, software automation process and agile process in software industry while guided by experienced automation developers. You will also learn about Autodesk flagship products: AutoCAD and Toolsets.

On-site in-person recruitment drive starts from 9 October - 6 November 2026

Responsibilities

- Understand different automation frameworks
- Understand different automation test cases
- Create different automation test cases with AI Tools
- Use Jenkins pipeline to test the test cases to make sure they are stable
- Document the technical details for future reference

Minimum Qualifications

- You must be enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's Program in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant fields
- You must either be in your penultimate or final year of studies, and will be graduating in 2027 or 2028
- Understanding of object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms
- Experience of working with languages like C++/C#/Java/Python etc
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies
- Internship period: 11 January - 25 June 2027 (fixed dates)

Preferred Qualifications

- Passion for developing robust software and writing maintainable code
- Keen interest in learning new tools and technologies
- Experience using AI Tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc)
- Flexibility under changing conditions and ability to multi-task between projects
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in English language
- Self-motivated with positive attitude
