Position Overview
AutoCAD, the leading software for Computer-Aided Design, is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer intern to join our team to build and support the entire cloud services ecosystem for our various products.
You will be part of a team of DevOps engineers that build, expand, and maintain the multiple cloud solutions for the multi-platform AutoCAD application that serves millions of users. You’ll be working with modern technology stacks, including Python, Django, Java, AWS, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Docker and more.
On-site in-person recruitment drive starts from 9 October - 6 November 2026
Responsibilities
- Research and recommend the best approach to solve a given problem
- Take part in the research, design, development, deployment, and monitoring of cross-platform AutoCAD features – bringing a centralized backend perspective to the table
- Adoption of best practices and market-standard technologies and methodologies
- Collaborate with colleagues both inside and outside of the team
This internship might be for you if:
- You are passionate about software development and technologies
- You are comfortable working in newly forming ambiguous areas where learning and adaptability are key skills
- You love the exposure to develop scalable cloud service on scalable AWS infrastructure
- You are great at communicating your findings both orally and visually
- You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectually as a member of team with minimal supervision
Minimum Qualifications
- You must be enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's Program in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant fields
- You must either be in your penultimate or final year of studies, and will be graduating in 2027 or 2028
- Understanding of object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms
- Understanding & constant curiosity of best practice DevOps and architecture methodologies
- Knowledge of Docker environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently
- Internship period: 11 January - 25 June 2027 (fixed dates)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS-based architecture
- Great programming skills (Python, JavaScript, Node.js,…)
- Previous back-end development experience
- Experience with infrastructure as code, configuration management tools and cloud automation
- Experience defining and building CI/CD processes and working with common CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity…)
