We're seeking a Project Engineer to lead high-impact automation and systems integration projects supporting fulfillment, distribution, and manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll partner with customers, equipment vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovative automation solutions while managing project execution, budgets, schedules, and installation activities. What You'll Do
- Lead technology and systems integration projects from planning through implementation.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate directly with customers, equipment suppliers, contractors, and integration partners.
- Support the design and implementation of automated material handling, packaging, and manufacturing systems.
- Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, startup activities, and change-order management.
- Coordinate construction management, vendor management, and project execution efforts.
- Develop and review automation layouts, equipment plans, and engineering documentation.
- Serve as a technical leader for complex industrial engineering and automation projects.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in: Project Engineering
- Process Engineering
- Project Management
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Similar technical project leadership roles
- Experience managing automation project budgets ranging from $500K to $50M .
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale industrial engineering projects.
- Experience designing and/or implementing integrated automation solutions, including: Material handling systems
- Automated fulfillment systems
- High-speed packaging lines
- Manufacturing production lines
- Highly proficient with: Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Project
- Microsoft Outlook
- Strong CAD experience with the ability to independently develop automation and facility layouts.
Preferred
- Experience with throughput qualification (TQ).
- Experience supporting fulfillment centers, distribution centers, warehouse automation, or manufacturing automation projects.
- Experience working with conveyors, robotics, sortation systems, ASRS, packaging systems, or other automated material handling technologies.

Work Environment
This position requires up to 75% travel to customer installation sites throughout the United States. Team members typically travel Monday morning, work onsite throughout the week, and return home Friday afternoon. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, collaborating with stakeholders, and experiencing different facilities and operations across the country.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $65.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
