Job Title: Project Coordinator (Home-Based) Job Description The Project Coordinator supports a portfolio of federally funded research programs and scientific initiatives. This role plays a critical part in coordinating project activities, maintaining timelines, supporting reporting requirements, and facilitating communication across multiple stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day activities across a portfolio of federally funded research programs and scientific initiatives.
- Maintain project timelines and ensure key milestones and deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Support reporting requirements for federally sponsored and industry-supported projects, including preparing and organizing documentation.
- Facilitate clear and timely communication among multiple stakeholders across scientific, healthcare, academic, and research-focused organizations.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, including preparing agendas, tracking action items, and following up on next steps.
- Track project deliverables and ensure proper documentation, version control, and organized filing of project materials.
- Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to gather information and compile reports across multiple departments.
- Assist with administration and operations related to research programs, including healthcare operations and research administration tasks as needed.
- Use Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, to create reports, presentations, and communications that support project goals.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines, adapting to changing priorities and needs.
- Support projects involving industry sponsors and federal contracts by helping to monitor progress and maintain compliance-related documentation.
- Leverage exposure to project management methodologies and project tracking systems to help monitor project status and escalate issues when necessary.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, program coordination, healthcare operations, research administration, or a related field.
- Experience supporting scientific, healthcare, academic, or research-focused organizations.
- Experience supporting academic or federally sponsored programs.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, track deliverables, and manage documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.
- Ability to independently gather information and keep projects moving forward.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Work Environment The role offers a primarily remote work environment, with the option to work 100% remotely. Ideally, the Project Coordinator is located close enough to the Atlanta area to attend occasional onsite meetings as needed. The position involves regular collaboration with senior operations leadership, including working closely with the leadership team for a RADX initiative and the operations team for a research center. The coordinator will interact with multiple departments to gather information and support reporting, using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook as core technologies. The work setting is fast paced, deadline driven, and focused on federally funded research and scientific programs. The position may begin as a contract role, with the potential for contract extension or direct hire based on performance and project needs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
