## Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Email Programmer – Email Marketing is to design, code, and deploy effective email campaigns. This position is responsible for developing responsive, high-quality email templates using HTML, CSS, and industry-standard email marketing platforms. Collaborating closely with creative and CRM teams, the Email Programmer ensures that campaigns are visually engaging, function seamlessly across devices, and deliver personalized content that enhances customer engagement and drives revenue.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resorts policies, practices, and procedures.

## Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Code and design high-quality, mobile-friendly email templates using HTML, CSS, and industry-standard email platforms.
- Work closely with CRM, creative, and marketing teams to ensure email campaigns align with brand standards and business objectives.
- Test emails across devices and clients; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal deliverability and performance.
- Integrate dynamic content and personalization features to enhance customer engagement and improve campaign results.
- Regularly update email templates and coding practices to incorporate industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Track key performance metrics, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to refine email marketing strategies.
- Adhere to data privacy regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all email marketing initiatives.
- Safety is an essential function of this job.

## Minimum Qualifications

- 21 years of age.
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- 2+ years of experience in email marketing, email programming, or digital marketing.
- Experience in the hospitality, hotel, or casino industry is preferred.
- Prior experience working with email campaigns in a CRM or customer relationship management environment.
- Strong expertise in HTML and CSS, with proven experience designing and coding responsive email templates.
- Familiarity with industry-standard email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, MailChimp, Adobe Campaign/Adobe Journey Optimizer, or similar).
- Experience integrating dynamic content and personalization into email campaigns.
- Proficient in testing emails across multiple devices and email clients to ensure optimal deliverability and performance.
- Understanding of email deliverability best practices and data privacy regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
- Familiarity with industry best practices for email segmentation and targeted messaging.
- Experience analyzing email campaign performance and making data-driven recommendations is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
