The Zillow Group Payment Program Management Team is a team dedicated to driving our team towards achieving its mission of delivering timely, complete, and accurate billing processes.

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Payment Program Management team! As a Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of billing and payments projects, while also analyzing operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing enhancements to optimize efficiency and accuracy across all Zillow billing and payment workflows in our Enterprise Billing Software system, Zuora. We are seeking individuals with a keen strategic mindset and passion for precision for the following responsibilities:

- Expand billing and payment reporting capabilities leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini)
- Evaluate operational workflows to identify and implement automation opportunities in partnership with business, accounting, and technical teams.
- Lead strategic initiatives to optimize card and ACH acceptance performance while reducing processing costs.
- Manage incident response and mitigation for payment-related outages and performance degradation to ensure operational continuity.
- Drive operational projects to enhance Zuora functionality and integration with upstream customer-facing systems and downstream processing partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for SOX audits and compliance reviews.
- Gather business requirements and design functional specifications for customized payment software capabilities across business units.
- Analyze upstream ERP scenarios to deliver actionable recommendations and ensure alignment across functional teams.
- Review custom solutions and test results to verify compliance with technical, business, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead UAT cycles with cross-functional stakeholders and support the deployment of payment solutions.
- Act as a Zuora Subject Matter Expert (SME) to maintain and adapt configurations in response to evolving business needs and upstream system updates.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $73,900.00 - $118,100.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia the standard base pay range for this role is $70,200.00 - $112,200.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Finance, or Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in a technology company, focusing on Finance, eCommerce, Subscription, and operational support models.
- 5+ years in Accounting, Corporate Finance, or Billing/Payments using enterprise ERP/billing systems (e.g., Zuora, NetSuite, Oracle).
- Familiarity with PCI, NACHA, and SOX compliance, audit requirements, and controls.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
- Experience using Jira for project management.
- Experience using AI tools such as Databricks, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and NotebookLM.
- Proven collaboration with technical stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and data management teams.
- Highly organized and efficient, with strong skills in cross-functional teamwork and task prioritization.
- Exceptional business acumen, quick learner, problem solver, great communicator, and interpersonal skills
