Job Title: Coordinator, Minor League Technology & Video

JOB SUMMARY:
The Coordinator, Minor League Technology & Video will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of all baseball video, technology, and baseball tracking systems. This role will collaborate with Baseball Analytics, Performance Science, Baseball Systems, Player Development and Coaching Staffs to ensure video and data from these systems is collected, processed, and managed to optimize performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all video gathering processes across Spring Training, Regular Season, Post Season, and offseason camps
- Supervise Tigers Baseball Information Assistant program by overseeing day-to-day operations, planning for departmental improvement, hiring and training as needed
- Responsible for assisting the management of all baseball technology day-to-day operations. Technology includes but is not limited to Hawk-Eye, Kinatrax, Trackman, BATS, Trajekt, Blast, and AWRE. Ability to operate all technology as needed
- Coordinate all BATS operations, ensuring accurate, reliable, and timely video distribution across all internal platforms and systems
- Work closely with the Manager, Technology and Video to ensure data from all systems is accurately captured, processed and delivered in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with technology providers and users, partnering with IT to implement effective solutions
- Cross-departmental collaboration across the organization to ensure all Tigers players and staff have access to video and technology resources

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- The ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge of general baseball concepts.
- The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills. The ability to communicate and resolve issues is critical.
- Previous experience using Hawk-Eye, KinaTrax, Trackman, BATS, Catapult and other baseball technology is preferred but not required.
- Practical experience R, Python, and SQL or similar languages is preferred but not required
- The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The ideal candidate must be willing to work longs hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- The candidate must be available full-time.
- Willing and able to relocate to the Lakeland, FL area.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Office environment and on-field/training facility activities
- Opportunities for occasional travel to affiliates and other Detroit Tigers facilities
- Evening, weekend, and holiday hours required
