About this role
fal is the generative media ecosystem powering the next generation of AI products. We build the infrastructure, tools, and model access that teams need to move from idea to production, and do it at scale without compromise. For developers and enterprises, fal is the foundation that makes generative media not just possible, but practical: a unified platform where high-performance inference, orchestration, and observability come together to unlock new categories of AI-native products.
As generative media reshapes industries across a market projected to grow by hundreds of billions over the next decade, fal is becoming the ecosystem that ambitious teams build on.
About this role:
We’re looking for a technical Product Marketer to own go-to-market for fal’s infrastructure products, from Serverless for deploying and scaling custom AI models across thousands of GPUs, to Compute for training on large, interconnected GPU clusters.
This isn’t a role where you inherit a finished product and write messaging around it. You’ll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, sales, and marketing, shaping how we position our infrastructure, how we take it to market, and how GTM insights inform what we build next.
Generative media is creating a new class of infrastructure workload: compute-intensive, latency-sensitive, highly variable, and operating at enormous scale.
The infrastructure for it is still being built. You’ll help define the category, tell the story, and shape the products behind it.
What you’ll do
- Own positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy for Serverless, Compute, and future infrastructure products
- Turn deeply technical capabilities into clear, compelling stories for developers and technical decision-makers
- Develop our competitive positioning across inference platforms, GPU clouds, hyperscalers, and in-house infrastructure
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering, bringing market and customer insight into roadmap and product decisions
- Build demand-gen programs that drive product adoption, pipeline, and revenue
- Own SEO and AEO strategy for infrastructure, capturing developers actively searching for inference, training, and compute solutions
- Create technical blogs, benchmarks, product launches, solution pages, architecture explainers, demos, and sales enablement
- Work with customers to develop compelling case studies and technical proof points
- Find the best stories inside our engineering work and turn them into narratives the market remembers
Qualifications/Nice-to-haves
- Deep enough technical fluency to earn the trust of engineers and infrastructure buyers
- Strong understanding of concepts like GPU infrastructure, inference, latency, throughput, autoscaling, distributed workloads, model serving, and training
- Exceptional writing and storytelling. You can make complicated technology simple without making it simplistic
- Experience taking technical products to market and translating product differentiation into demand
- Comfortable moving between strategy and execution: from positioning a product to writing the launch page yourself
- Strong commercial instincts and a focus on adoption, pipeline, revenue, and measurable GTM outcomes
- High ownership and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where the product and category are still being defined
