About this role
fal is the generative media ecosystem powering the next generation of AI products. We build the infrastructure, tools, and model access that teams need to move from idea to production, and do it at scale without compromise. For developers and enterprises, fal is the foundation that makes generative media not just possible, but practical: a unified platform where high-performance inference, orchestration, and observability come together to unlock new categories of AI-native products.
As generative media reshapes industries across a market projected to grow by hundreds of billions over the next decade, fal is becoming the ecosystem that ambitious teams build on.
About this role:
We’re looking for an in-house Technical Writer to tell the story of fal’s infrastructure , from Serverless for deploying and scaling custom AI models across thousands of GPUs, to Compute for training on large, interconnected GPU clusters.
You’ll work closely with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to turn complex technical work into content that developers and technical decision-makers actually want to read, and that makes fal the obvious place to run generative media workloads.
Some of the most interesting work happening at fal is deep inside the infrastructure, and most of the market never sees it.
Your job is to uncover those stories and make them impossible to miss.
What you’ll do
- Write technical blogs, landing pages, guides, tutorials, solution pages, and product launch content for Serverless and Compute
- Work directly with engineers to uncover interesting technical stories and turn them into clear, compelling content
- Explain topics like inference performance, GPU infrastructure, autoscaling, distributed workloads, model serving, training, latency, and throughput
- Develop technical deep dives and architecture content that demonstrates how fal works under the hood
- Create benchmarks and competitive content that clearly communicates where fal performs differently
- Interview customers and turn their work into technical case studies and customer stories
- Support SEO and AEO by building authoritative content around the infrastructure problems developers are searching for
- Translate product launches and engineering breakthroughs into narratives that resonate beyond the engineering team
- Build and maintain a consistent technical voice for fal across the website, blog, and other developer-facing channels
- Work with Product Marketing to identify the stories and topics that will drive awareness, adoption, and demand
Qualifications/Nice-to-haves
- An exceptional technical writer who can make complex systems clear without dumbing them down
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, AI/ML infrastructure, developer tools, or adjacent technical products
- Comfortable talking with engineers about GPUs, inference, distributed systems, APIs, model serving, and performance
- Able to independently research technical subjects, ask the right questions, and turn engineering knowledge into polished content
- Strong instincts for both technical accuracy and storytelling
- Experience writing for developers and technical decision-makers
- Understanding of SEO/AEO and content distribution , not just writing in isolation
- Comfortable moving quickly and publishing frequently in a fast-changing technical environment
