Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the SCADA/ADMS/DMS network model (substations, feeders, switching devices, transformers and protection devices) from the customer’s GIS and asset data; run initial and incremental model imports using the SCADA/ADMS/DMS model build tools.
- Validate network connectivity, topology, phasing and electrical parameters; identify and resolve data-quality issues with the customer’s GIS and network teams and track them to closure.
- Map SCADA/RTU points to model objects; build and maintain one-line, schematic and geographic displays.
- Prepare and validate application data for DMS functions (load flow, FLISR, Volt/VAR optimization) and for OMS (customer-to-transformer mapping, crews and devices).
- Support factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), cutover and go-live, and post-go-live model maintenance; train the customer’s modeling staff so the model remains sustainable after handover.
