POSITION TITLE: Administrative Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Community Services
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
PAY GRADE: 4
REPORTS TO: Director Community Services
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
The purpose of this position is to support the Agencys needs by providing support to the Director of Community Services with all administrative and customer relations related functions as needed and on an ongoing basis. Responsible for support of day to day operational and administrative functions for Community Services programs.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assist customers with signing in for services upon arrival at the center.
Serves as liaison between customers and Community Services staff, including referral to the appropriate staff for service requested.
Assists with troubleshooting day to day issues relevant to requests for services.
Refers any issues to Director of Community Services appropriately and accordingly.
Assists with the coordination of and attend related virtual and/or outreach community events, when applicable.
Assists customers with utilization of center technology
Assists with the coordination of and attends and records minutes of all departmental meetings and Community Services staff trainings.
Works with staff to follow-up on requests received via email and/or via Ask Me forms.
Works with the Director of Community Services on program reports, as needed.
ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Answer phones and follow up with phone messages and emails.
Makes copies as needed.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Minimum of a high school diploma from an accredited institution of learning. Associates or Bachelors degree in a human services field of study preferred. Years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a college degree.
Demonstrated Skills: Solid listening, verbal, and written communication skills; proven computer literacy; ability to work with persons from various racial/ethnic and economic backgrounds. Must have demonstrated excellent customer service and time management skills.
Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
Driving Required: Yes Agency Vehicle: No Employees Own Vehicle: Yes
Active drivers license and vehicle insurance maintained in good standing required upon hire and throughout employment.

Physical Ability: Tasks involve the regular and, at times, sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and that may involve the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (20-50 pounds).
Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require visual perception and discrimination. Some tasks require oral communications ability.
Environmental Factors: Tasks are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, animals/wildlife, toxic/poisonous agents, violence, disease, or pathogenic substances.
