About this role

Merge medical imaging solutions, offered by Merative, combine intelligent, scalable imaging workflow tools with deep and broad expertise to help healthcare organizations improve their confidence in patient outcomes and optimize care delivery

Merge is one of the most widely deployed medical imaging platforms in the world. Health systems, cardiology practices, and reading centers rely on us to store, move, and read imaging across the enterprise. Cardiology is one of our strongest franchises — anchored by a market-leading position in hemodynamics — and we are extending it across the full cardiology suite and onto the cloud. This role owns where that portfolio goes next.

The opportunity

Cardiology is one of Merge’s clearest opportunities to lead a market. This role owns the cardiology portfolio as a business: the strategy to grow it, the roadmap to modernize it, and the commercial tactics — adoption, cloud migration, pricing, and packaging — that turn a strong market position into revenue and reference customers. You will report directly to the VP, Product, and lead a cross-functional effort spanning product, engineering, design, marketing, and sales.

This is a market-leader role. We are looking for someone who thinks like a general manager — equally comfortable setting product direction, shaping a pricing model, and standing in front of a cardiology customer.

What you’ll own

- Portfolio growth and strategy. Own the cardiology product strategy and roadmap end to end — where the portfolio wins today, where it must extend across the cardiology suite, and how it grows over the next several years.

- Adoption. Drive adoption of cardiology solutions across new and existing customers — turning the installed base into active, referenceable users and expanding footprint account by account.

- Cloud migration. Lead the portfolio’s move to the cloud — sequencing migration so existing customers modernize without disruption and new customers land cloud-native.

- Pricing and packaging. Own how cardiology is priced, bundled, and positioned as part of the broader imaging platform — using packaging tactics to accelerate growth while protecting margin.

- AI strategy. Define how AI shows up in the cardiology product line — where it creates real clinical and workflow value, what we build versus partner for, and how AI-enabled capabilities are validated, packaged, and brought to market.

- Product health metrics. Own the measures of portfolio health and drive them — product usage and utilization, customer satisfaction, and the financial metrics that matter most: retention, churn, and growth.

What you’ll do

- Set a multi-year cardiology strategy and translate it into a sequenced, evidence-backed roadmap, validated with customer research, win/loss, and early-access customers.

- Partner with sales and marketing on go-to-market — positioning, packaging, pricing tactics, and the plays that convert market position into pipeline.

- Lead an empowered, cross-functional team through the product development lifecycle, iterating with engineering and design on the solution rather than handing off requirements.

- Own the commercial performance of the portfolio — growth, adoption, retention, and margin — and the metrics that track it.

- Represent the cardiology portfolio with customers, clinical advisors, analysts, and internal leadership — and bring what you hear back into the roadmap.

What you bring

- 10+ years in product management or product leadership, including ownership of a product line or portfolio as a business.

- A track record of driving growth — adoption, expansion, and revenue — not only shipping features.

- Experience with pricing and packaging: bundling, tiering, and positioning a product within a broader platform.

- Strong commercial partnership skills — you have worked hand in hand with sales and marketing to win markets.

- People leadership: you have built and led high-performing product teams.

- Clear, plain communication — credible with clinicians, executives, and engineers alike.

Nice to have

- Background in cardiology, cardiac imaging, or the cardiology device / software market.

- Experience leading a product line through a cloud or SaaS migration.

- Familiarity with enterprise imaging, PACS, or clinical workflow.

- Fluency with the product operating model — you have led empowered teams across product, UX, and engineering to deliver outcomes, with heavy discovery and experimentation.
