Job Summary
This role provides comprehensive on-campus support for DTS-DCs weekend hybrid classes and campus operations. Responsibilities include serving as the primary on-site contact for weekend classes, welcoming and assisting students, preparing and closing classrooms, coordinating technology and security needs, distributing ID badges, conducting safety procedures, managing supplies and refreshments, and communicating class logistics and weather-related updates to students and faculty. The role also serves as the primary liaison with the host church, coordinating classroom reservations, space assignments, accessibility, maintenance, cleaning, and repairs to ensure the campus is prepared and functioning effectively.
In addition to regular classroom operations, the role plans, coordinates, and executes approximately eight annual campus events, including chapels, student gatherings, dinners, and graduation. This includes coordinating worship, IT, catering, presentations, volunteers, and communications, as well as producing newsletters for students, alumni, and friends. The position also provides growing logistical support for DTS-DCs Northeast regional sites by coordinating with site contacts, facilitating hybrid course logistics, planning regional events, and assisting with staff travel. Other related responsibilities are assigned by the Assistant Director as needed.
- Weekend Classroom Coverage Support (35%)
Represent as primary on-site contact for all 7-12 hybrid weekend classes on the DTS-DC campus each semester.
Be present at least 30 min before the start of class, pass out guest badges, & make campus announcements prior to start of class.
- Manage snacks & coffee, lunch if provided by campus.
- Close down classrooms after the end of the last class.
- Be a hospitable face on behalf of the DTS-DC team, welcoming students.
- Classroom Support Preparation (15%)
Coordinate with the IT Analyst regarding classes and events to ensure that operation and technological needs are well supplied and planned for successful execution.
- Set up classrooms, including tables, chairs, and work with IT Analyst to set up technology.
- Serve as the primary security contact between Dallas Security and DTS-DC.
Create and distribute ID badges for students.
- Conduct annual fire drills.
- Email students and faculty regarding class logistics the week of each weekend hybrid, communicating class location, timing, parking info, etc.
- Purchase office supplies, including snacks on-campus courses, as needed.
- Send out student communications via Omnilert of inclement weather impacting classes.
- Host Church Liaison (10%)
Serve as the primary contact between DTS-DC and BCC.
- Coordinate with BCC on classroom usage and needs, making sure classrooms are secured at least 2 weeks prior to event.
- Manage classroom assignments and accessibility of campus spaces; interface with student room needs.
- Manage all campus maintenance, cleaning, and repair with host church.
- Events Hosting & Communications (20% Overlapping with weekend classroom coverage)
Plan, coordinate, & execute DTS-DC 8 on-campus events throughout the year, including but not limited to, chapels, student gatherings, student & faculty dinners, and graduation.
- Create and email newsletters for upcoming campus events to students, alumni, and friends.
- Coordinate worship, IT, catering, slides, and any other aspect of each event.
- Secure volunteers to support events and various coverage as needed.
- Northeast Regional Support (20% - to grow as activity increases)
Act as liaison between the Northeast regional sites and DTS-DC campus.
- Oversee the multi-site logistical needs of the Northeast Region as the Strategic Plan develops the growth of campus.
- Communicate with site points of contact to coordinate class times, locations, & other needs for hybrid courses.
- Host 3-4 regional events, including all logistics & program planning for each event.
- Support coordinating travel for other DTS staff to get to Northeast site activity.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Assistant Director.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Canva.
- Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment.
- DTS Student or DTS Graduate Preferred.
- Work will include Thursday evening, Friday, and Saturday support and may include weekday evening coverage.
