Role Overview + Why the Role Matters

The Sales Reporting Analyst delivers trusted, repeatable reporting and data maintenance that support new-business sales performance for Individual Life Insurance (ILI) sales leaders, wholesalers, and distribution partners. This execution-focused individual contributor will manage a defined business-as-usual reporting queue, producing accurate outputs on a predictable cadence so sales leaders and field partners can run the business with confidence while senior team members focus on strategy, prioritization, and stakeholder leadership.

What You'll Do

- Deliver weekly and monthly new-business sales and distributor-level reporting on schedule

- Maintain and enhance standard Tableau dashboards, landing pages, and recurring reporting templates while preserving consistent formats and documented business rules.

- Validate sales data, reconcile information across sources, investigate discrepancies, and resolve or escalate errors to protect reporting accuracy.

- Manage first-pass ad hoc data and reporting requests, completing well-defined requests and escalating items that require complex analysis, prioritization, or significant judgment.

- Follow and help maintain standard operating procedures, documenting repeatable work and flagging exceptions

- Provide clear, dependable reporting outputs that enable ILI sales leaders, wholesalers, and distribution partners to monitor performance and make informed business decisions.

How You'll Work and Succeed

You will work within a structured reporting environment and partner with sales leaders, wholesalers, distribution partners, and senior team members who provide direction on priorities and complex stakeholder needs. Success in this role requires:

- Execution discipline and strong attention to detail across recurring deliverables.

- A process-oriented mindset that follows documented standards and sustains repeatable formats.

- Analytical problem-solving to reconcile data, identify root causes, and explain discrepancies clearly.

- Sound judgment about what can be resolved independently and what should be escalated.

- Clear written communication, reliable follow-through, and accountability for deadlines.

- A continuous-improvement mindset focused on practical enhancements to reporting quality, consistency, and efficiency.

- Curiosity and initiative to use AI and other research methods, think creatively, and build new skills to identify better solutions or solve problems.

What You'll Bring

- Hands-on experience building, maintaining, or supporting Tableau dashboards and reports.

- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with sales, financial, or similarly structured business data.

- Demonstrated ability to reconcile data across multiple sources and clearly explain discrepancies.

- Conceptual understanding of sales constructs such as production, pipeline, crediting, territories, and incentives.

- Experience working within documented processes, standards, and recurring delivery cadences.

- Clear written communication skills and sound judgment regarding when to resolve an issue independently versus escalate it.

What Will Set You Apart

- Exposure to Power BI and an interest in reporting automation or modernization.

- Foundational knowledge of distribution hierarchies and compensation-adjacent reporting.

- Experience supporting new-business sales reporting within insurance or financial services.
