JOB SUMMARY

The Environmental Project Manager is responsible for supporting and managing environmental assessment, remediation, and regulatory compliance projects associated with petroleum releases from underground storage tank (UST) systems throughout Oklahoma. This position will oversee field investigations, corrective action activities, regulatory reporting, budget tracking, and client communication while ensuring compliance with Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) Petroleum Storage Tank Division (PSTD) requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess an active OCC PSTD UST Remediation Consultant License or have the education, experience, and technical background necessary to obtain licensure within a specified period of employment.

INTER-RELATIONSHIPS

Employees, Managers, and Supervisors throughout the corporation, and various external customers, vendors, consultants, and governmental regulatory officials.

MAJOR TASKS

Project Management

- Manage multiple UST assessment and remediation projects under the direction of senior staff.

- Develop project scopes, schedules, cost estimates, and work plans.

- Track project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.

- Coordinate subcontractors, drilling activities, laboratory services, and remediation contractors.

- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Environmental Investigation and Remediation

- Conduct and oversee:

- Soil and groundwater investigations

- Site assessments and characterization activities

- Monitoring well installation and sampling programs

- Soil excavation oversight

- Remediation system installation and operation

- Groundwater and vapor monitoring programs

- Interpret environmental data and assist in developing corrective action strategies.

- Support the evaluation and implementation of remediation technologies.

- Maintain accurate field documentation and data management records.

Client Relations

- Serve as a day-to-day contact for clients.

- Communicate project status, budgets, schedules, and technical findings.

- Support proposal preparation and business development efforts.

- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, regulators, and subcontractors.

JOB SKILL REQUIREMENTS

- Understanding of environmental investigation and remediation practices.

- Knowledge of petroleum-contaminated soil and groundwater assessment techniques.

- Familiarity with Oklahoma UST regulations and remediation programs.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

- Ability to interpret analytical data and prepare technical recommendations.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organizational and project management abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE

Topographic OM, Inc. in-office standard business hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.

The specific schedule for this role will be based on location and department.

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

TRAVEL

Travel to worksites may be required.
