SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Floor Tech is responsible for the cleanliness of floors in all the Trezevant facilities in order to maintain a clean, safe, attractive and operative facility at all times. This position is part-time on weekend, (SAT and Sun) working 7am - 3:30am.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean floors which include scrubbing, stripping, burnishing, waxing and carpet cleaning.
- Clean floors in all common areas assigned by Housekeeping Manager and provide a clean and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Perform work that meets or exceeds resident(s)s satisfaction as measured by the resident satisfaction survey.
- Must have knowledge of Trezevant Manors Mission, Vision and Values.
- Must be courteous and considerate at all times and develop good listening skills so as to show interest in the resident(s)and help prevent problems before they occur.
- Communication skills must reflect caring and respect for residents, families and other members of Of Trezevant Episcopal Home.
- Perform any other duty assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
- Report for work on time, as scheduled and outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Qualifications
License/Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write and follow directions.
- Floor cleaning experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
