About this role

About Greenboard
At Greenboard, we’re building the future of financial compliance. Greenboard is the unified, AI-native compliance operating system for RIAs, fintechs, private funds, hedge funds, and more. It replaces the fragmented mix of legacy tools and automates more than previously possible. By centralizing data and workflows, Greenboard helps firms reduce regulatory risk, simplify their technology stack, modernize how they run compliance, and save money.
Our founding team includes engineers who have scaled products at Amazon, Google, and multiple unicorn startups. We’re backed by Y Combinator, General Catalyst, Base10, and other top-tier investors, and have raised over $20M to date. Brand-name financial institutions already rely on Greenboard — and we’re growing fast.

About the Role
Compliance leaders are hungry for smart, practical content, and most of what's out there is dry, generic, or written by people who have never sat in a CCO's chair. We want Greenboard to be the name compliance teams trust for clear thinking on regulation, technology, and how modern compliance actually gets done. We're hiring a Content Marketing Manager to own our content engine end to end: what we say, how we say it, and how it turns into pipeline. You'll work closely with our founders, Sales, Product, and our Events Marketing Manager, and you'll ship a lot. You will:

- Own LinkedIn organic: ship 3–5 posts/week across company and executive channels (product launches, customer stories, podcast clips, founder POVs); grow engagement from our ICP and turn it into conversations for Sales
- Build a thought leadership program for CCO, CTO, and compliance buyers: articles, guides, regulatory explainers, and opinionated takes on where compliance is headed
- Run the customer story engine: source → interview → approve → publish; turn each story into multi-format assets (case studies, quotes, short video, social posts, sales one-pagers)
- Produce and grow our podcast: guest sourcing, prep, episode packaging, and clipping content for distribution
- Own the newsletter: editorial calendar, writing, list growth, and performance
- Write product launch content: messaging, one-pagers, decks, emails, and website copy; partner with Product on roadmap comms
- Build sales and partner enablement kits: one-pagers, decks, case studies, demo scripts, and a maintained partner toolkit
- Turn events into content: work with our Events Marketing Manager on webinar topics, speaker content, and post-event recaps that keep working after the room empties
- Establish SEO foundations: keyword research, pillar pages, and a publishing cadence that compounds; earn links through podcast guesting and partner content
- Supply creative and copy for paid campaigns and landing pages, and track what content drives meetings and pipeline

What We're Looking For

- Able to work from our office in NoMad, NYC 5 days a week
- 3+ years in B2B SaaS content marketing, with a portfolio of work you wrote and shipped yourself
- An excellent writer who can take complex, technical, or regulatory ideas and make them clear, sharp, and worth reading. Comfortable writing in a founder's voice as well as the company's.
- Range across formats: long-form articles, LinkedIn posts, case studies, email, scripts, and sales collateral
- Experience running an editorial calendar and shipping consistently without sacrificing quality
- Working knowledge of SEO and content distribution, and comfort tying content to engagement, meetings, and pipeline
- Strong interviewer and editor who can pull great stories out of customers and subject matter experts
- Experience writing for financial services, fintech, compliance, legal, or another regulated industry is a strong plus
- Hustle, resourcefulness, and ownership suited to an early-stage startup
