A Brief Overview

Product Manager - US Benefits (India) - The position will assist in increasing the profitability and customer value of existing products and aid in developing new products for the company. The position will be responsible for building products from existing ideas or helping develop new ones based on experience, representing the interests and needs of customers, prospects, and partners. The role will support US Benefits products and experiences, partnering with global teams to improve benefits administration capabilities across areas such as enrolment, life events, billing, and carrier connections.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities :

- Develops product strategies and plans to increase overall usage, customer value, and user satisfaction for US Benefits products.
- Assists in translating business goals, customer needs, and US Benefits operational requirements into a concrete product strategy and tactical plan.
- Assesses and specifies market requirements for current and future products through conducting market research and on-going discussions with internal clients and client-facing teams
- Manages the product life cycle, from discovery and roadmap planning through prioritization, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Develops, implements, and manages product features in collaboration with engineering, UX, operations, analytics, and business partners across global teams.
- Prepares clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation; manages and prioritizes the product backlog.
- Provides feedback on product costs and budget impact
- Supports product capabilities across US Benefits administration, including Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability benefits, Open Enrolment, Qualifying Life Events, benefits billing, carrier integrations, and benefits operations.
- Uses customer feedback, operational insights, product data, and market context to support discovery, prioritization, and data-informed product decisions.
- Partners with support and operations teams to assess production issues, identify root causes and customer impact, and prioritize scalable product improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS :

- MBA

Work Experience :

- Typically, 2-3+ years
- Product Management experience. Experience with SaaS, HR technology, HCM, Benefits Administration, Payroll, PEO, or related enterprise products is preferred. Direct exposure to the US Benefits domain is strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
- Working knowledge of US Benefits administration concepts and applicable business and compliance considerations.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering, UX, operations, analytics, business teams, and other global partners.
- Ability to translate customer, business, and operational needs into clear, scalable product requirements and solutions.
- Experience with product discovery, roadmap planning, prioritization, backlog management, and Agile/Scrum product delivery practices.
- Understanding of benefits administration workflows, including enrolment, life events, billing, and carrier-related processes.
- Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, and third-party benefits or carrier ecosystems is preferred.
- Customer-focused and data-informed approach to product decisions, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
