Position Status
This is a 18-month fixed-term contract (FTC) position. This job posting reflects a current vacancy within the organization. This posting is for an existing and currently open position.
General Description
This is a pivotal role in the Human Resources team. As the HR Services Coordinator you will be responsible for the full recruitment function and be the go-to person for all HR incoming inquiries. You will be responsible for providing day to day administrative support to the HR team, employees, and Managers. You will work closely with the HR team to implement various initiatives and participate in key projects.
Key Responsibilities
- First point of contact for all employee and Manager inquiries regarding HR and Payroll programs and processes.
- Responsible for full end to end recruitment process including company branding on social media to attract top talent.
- Provide HR support in all functional areas including Onboarding, New hire Orientation, Reporting, Compensation, Benefits and Offboarding.
- HRIS Data management including inputting all employee changes into HRIS system.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital copies of employee records.
- Maintain HR Intranet and SharePoint.
- Support the Human Resources team with program development and delivery as required.
- Assist in various HR ad-hoc projects.
- Other duties as required.
- This is an evolving role as we continue to build our department.
Qualifications
Experience and Skills
- 2-3 years' related experience in Human Resources including Recruitment.
- Experience with HRIS system.
- Advanced Microsoft office skills, in particular Excel skills including pivot tables and macros required.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, operate under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Able to be proactive with good problem-solving skills and judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with an enthusiasm for working with the people at all levels of the organization.
- Good understanding of Employment legislation required in Employment Standards, Occupational Health and Safety, Human Rights, etc.
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Strong attention to detail.
- Team player and able to work cross functionally with other team members and departments.
Education
Required:
- Diploma or University degree in Human Resources.
- Working knowledge of all relevant legislations.
Preferred
- CHRP designation.
Working Conditions
- Standard office conditions.
- 37.5-hour work week.

Compensation Range
$58,840 - $73,550
