The Program Business Operations Manager 1 will partner with the Program and Functional Managers to support the management of financial, schedule, contractual, and proposal and aspects of the program to achieve the Business Unit’s financial and strategic objectives.  This position will be a direct report to the Strike Weapons Program Office.

This position will be located in Chandler, AZ.  Due to Strike Weapons security requirements, this position will be located within a security controlled closed area.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Provide direction and oversight for a team of Business Operations functions (Contracts, Finance, Scheduling).

- Manage financial business analysis and reporting with the ability to clearly communicate with management as it relates to financial program status.

- Oversee key line forecasting, work authorization, implementation of modified EV reporting, program budgeting, estimate at complete development, and various financial reporting activities.

- Coordinate cost and schedule analyses and preparation of reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon cost and schedule parameters and cost control guidelines.

- Manage financial risks and opportunities with multiple contract types.

- Assist with the organization, development, and execution of Proposal efforts for contract modifications and supporting Business Development on new contracts as necessary.

- Support various internal and external audits as applicable.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline with 5 years of associated job experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop talent
- Experience with cost and schedule control, program budgeting and forecasting using EVMS principles
- Schedule, performance and financial reporting experience on a variety of contract types
- Previous participation with customer directed meetings and reviews
- The willingness and ability to travel internationally and domestically 10% of the time
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Knowledge and management of various government CLIN types including CPIF/CPAF/FPIF/FPAF/FFP
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance or higher
- US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Business related discipline
- General aerospace and launch vehicle knowledge
- Familiar with COBRA and COGNOS systems and reporting
- Experience developing business strategy and forecasting, through internal or external deliverables such a Long-Range Strategic Plan or Annual Operating Plan
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $114,900.00 - $172,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
