Maintenance Lab Technician
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Location: Prattville, AL
Job Summary
We are hiring a Maintenance Lab Technician to support equipment maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and day-to-day operations in a manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical, electrical, maintenance, or technical experience who enjoys hands-on work and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and machinery
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
- Test, inspect, and evaluate equipment and components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment
- Assist with equipment repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and testing activities
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Work with team members to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Perform other maintenance and technical duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or technical experience preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify equipment issues
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform hands-on work throughout the shift
