Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of automated dispensing and unit dose packaging equipment. This role will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, minimize downtime, and support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance on automated dispensing and packaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and equipment issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Operate dispensing systems and provide Shift Lead support to ensure equipment runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend permanent corrective actions and process improvements.
- Maintain CMMS work orders, equipment records, calibrations, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Manage spare parts inventory and requisition replacement components and repair materials.
- Develop and support preventive maintenance and equipment training programs.
- Train production employees on equipment setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure equipment meets safety requirements.
- Work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, and provide off-hours/emergency support as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

- High school diploma/GED, technical school graduate, or equivalent training.
- 3+ years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing automated machinery.
- Proficient with power tools, hand tools, and electrical/measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of machine shop practices and mechanical systems.
- Working knowledge of 220V electrical systems .
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance activities in a production environment.
- Experience with CMMS systems is preferred.
