About this role
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for working closely with executive leadership to continually focus on achieving high levels of employee engagement, financial outcomes, and compliance while developing the company’s leaders and their direct reports in the Phoenix office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations for the sales organization.
- Oversees discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to define the organization’s long-term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through people management.
- Researches, develops, and implements learning and development strategies, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.
- Provides guidance and leadership to the human resource team; assists with resolution of human resource questions, concerns, and issues.
- Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
- Implementing Microsoft training for the Sales staff.
- Conduct investigations as needed into any complaints made by Phoenix employees.
- Participate in professional development and networking conferences and events, including, without limitation, management classes.
- Assess HR practices currently in place and identify ways to make a sustained, long-term contribution to enhance policies, operations, and people.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- At least ten years of human resource management experience required, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience required.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.
- Experience with a sales organization is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Will be required to work some weekend days when the Phoenix Sales team works on said weekend day.
