Customer Service Representative - Logistics
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am to 4pm OR 8am to 5pm
Position Overview
PrideStaff is hiring a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative for a leading logistics and supply chain facility in Tempe, AZ. Working under the direction of the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will serve as a vital link between warehouse leads, material handlers, carriers, and corporate accounts.
In this role, you will manage inbound/outbound manifest documentation, enter inventory data, process orders and returns using SAP, and coordinate small parcel shipping. If you thrive in a fast-paced warehouse office environment and bring strong SAP and MS Excel skills, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Documentation & Entry: Process all Inbound/Outbound Manifests, Receipts, and Bills of Lading (BOLs) accurately and in a timely manner.
Systems & Order Management: Receive, generate, and process orders/returns via email, phone, and fax using SAP.
Shipping & Logistics Coordination: Use automated shipping programs for small parcel freight (FedEx & UPS) and schedule inbound containers with carriers.
Inventory Control: Conduct cycle count processing, generate Stock Status reports, and maintain inventory accuracy across data systems.
Metrics & Reporting: Maintain, audit, and create daily metric logs, reports, and spreadsheets for the operations group.
Team & Client Communication: Collaborate daily with material handlers, truck drivers, and key customer accounts to resolve issues and deliver exceptional service.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
Software Proficiency: SAP experience is required. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) is required.
Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Transportation: Reliable transportation to the facility in Tempe, AZ.
Physical Requirements & Environment
Environment: Primary workstation in an office setting within a active logistics facility.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively from various heights and carry items throughout the workday as needed.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.50 - $17.50 Per Hour
