Dental Assistant (Bilingual Spanish/English Required) Location: Goleta, CA Department: Dental Services About the Opportunity We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Dental Assistant who is passionate about helping patients and providing exceptional customer service. Healthcare experience is preferred, but no dental license or diploma is required. Position Summary The Dental Assistant supports providers during patient care, assists with clinic operations, and helps create a positive experience for patients through excellent communication, organization, and customer service. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
- Welcome and communicate with patients in both English and Spanish.
- Help create a positive, comfortable, and supportive patient experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address patient questions and concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Document patient information accurately and assist with administrative duties as needed.
- Collaborate with providers and staff to support efficient patient flow.

Qualifications Required:

- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude.
- Basic computer skills.
- Passion for helping others and serving the community.

Preferred:

- Experience in healthcare, dental, medical, or other patient-facing environments.
- Previous customer service experience.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goleta, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
