Role Summary:
The Senior Bilingual Import/Export Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of parts, equipment, and inventory between Cinemark and its international facilities throughout Latin America. This role serves as the primary liaison for LATAM theatre teams regarding inventory management, shipment preparation, customs compliance, and equipment deployment activities. The position plays a critical role in ensuring international locations maintain appropriate inventory levels while supporting operational continuity through inventory planning, local sourcing, and vendor coordination.
The ideal candidate combines expertise in import/export operations, inventory analysis, supply chain coordination, and bilingual communication skills to support theatres, internal business partners, and external vendors across multiple countries.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, verify, and maintain records for international shipments to and from Cinemark depots and theatre locations throughout Central and South America.
- Monitor inventory levels at LATAM depots and theatre locations to determine replenishment needs and inventory adjustments.
- Enter orders, pull, pack, assemble, and properly identify equipment and materials for international shipments.
- Track shipments and proactively communicate delivery status, delays, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, labeling standards, and shipping documentation.
- Partner with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to facilitate timely and accurate delivery of shipments.
LATAM Warehouse Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Latin American theatre depots regarding inventory availability, shipment preparation, equipment deployment, and international logistics processes.
- Provide guidance to depot teams, local sourcing, and domestic partners on inventory management, shipping procedures, and equipment transfers.
- Partner with theatre operations and technical teams to ensure critical equipment and operational needs are fulfilled in a timely manner.
Regional Sourcing & Vendor Management
- Research and identify local suppliers throughout Latin America for technical equipment and operational materials, including hard drives, flash drives, filters, cables, networking components, and related technology parts.
- Obtain and compare vendor quotes while evaluating sourcing options based on cost, availability, quality, and business requirements.
- Coordinate procurement and shipment of locally sourced materials to support theatre operations and minimize equipment downtime.
Inventory Analysis & Process Improvement
- Analyze inventory usage trends and consumption patterns throughout Latin America to recommend inventory level adjustments and replenishment strategies.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Theatre Presentation teams to resolve inventory shortages, backorders, and replenishment challenges.
- Test and provide feedback on WMS enhancements, inventory management tools, and shipping process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory management, shipping processes, sourcing practices, and operational efficiencies.
- Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
