Role Summary:

This role involves maintaining and improving physical security system controls by collaborating with theatre leadership, developing process modifications, and ensuring the proper functioning of facility safes through monitoring, training, and vendor collaboration. It also includes maintaining system health for new builds and remodels, monitoring issues, and ensuring legal compliance. Additionally, you will safeguard company assets by implementing and analyzing security protocols and identifying processes to minimize risk and losses in theatres and corporate facilities.

Responsibilities:

Equipment Health

Alarm System Controls

Maintain alarm system health

- Work with RVP’s and GM’s on system protocols and proper use
- Suggest modifications to process to improve alarm issues
- Maintain data as accurate for proper alarm access
- Ensure PIN management controls are correct at theatre level
- Alarm system usage audits and follow up and train on any process problems leading to false alarms

Safe Functions

Maintain access controls

- Monitor, address, and train any safe protocol issues with GM
- Ensure proper access controls to safe
- Monitor and address any safe functionality issues
- Work with vendor to ensure proper repair and costing, including challenging any unnecessary work or costs associated with repair or installations per vendor agreements
- Work with Treasury on Armor Courier access and deposit pick issues

Camera Systems

Maintain system health

- Monitor, address, and train on any issues with camera systems to ensure safety and security of persons and assets, including ensuring all cameras maintain legally appropriate views and retention of data
- Monitor, address, and ensure timely repair of any camera system issues
- Work with vendor to ensure proper repair and costing, including challenging any unnecessary work or costs associated with repair or installations per vendor agreements
- Develop camera masking and tracking patterns to isolate fraudulent behavior to further refine ability of equipment
- Monitor camera equipment improvements to consider for upgrading CNK systems
- Develop camera strategies for new builds and remodels
- Maintain weekly system health review and usage tracking

Financial & Policy

Email & Alerts

- Follow up on all termination alerts to ensure legal appropriateness and address and train on any issues
- Follow up on all false alarm issues and address and train on any corrective actions needed
- Ensure access is appropriate to personnel as GMs and managers relocate

Service Channel

Efficiency & pricing control

- Work with vendors to ensure proper work and costing, challenging any unnecessary expenses or time or equipment issues
- Build proposals for new work ensuring financially appropriate and within department budget controls
- Ensure invoicing compliance review & NTE adjustments
- Maintain asset manager
- Work with RVPs and GMs to ensure timely movement of projects and train/discuss any concerns
- Collect and vet all CAPEX and budget requests to present to department head suggestions for work to approve

Invoicing

Accuracy & efficiency

- Monitor and address any invoicing issues for vendors & guards
- Work with vendor on any billing problems or costing issues
- Train GMs on any billing process issues
- Ensure coding and routing is appropriate

Additional Responsibilities

- False alarm tracking and report generating
- Updating false alarm fee tables
- Alarm panel communication failure log upkeep
- LP access camera list maintenance
- Warranty repair tracking by vendor

Requirements:

Hard Skills

- Strong working knowledge of technical security systems general operation and requirements
- Microsoft Office Suite (Additional training in Outlook & Excel a plus)
- Data Entry
- Adaptability in navigating various software systems used by Loss Prevention
