Fairfield by Marriott Dayton Downtown is seeking a motivated, dependable, and guest-focused Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. We are looking for a positive and flexible hospitality professional who enjoys working with people, leading a team, and creating an exceptional guest experience.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced hotel environment and understands that every day can look a little different. The ideal candidate is someone who can confidently lead the Front Desk team while also being willing to step in and assist wherever needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise and support Front Desk Agents during daily operations
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to all guests
• Assist with check-ins, check-outs, reservations, payments, and guest requests
• Address and resolve guest concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Train, coach, and support Front Desk team members
• Review daily arrivals, departures, VIPs, groups, and special requests
• Communicate effectively with all departments and management
• Maintain accurate records and follow hotel cash-handling procedures
• Ensure hotel and Marriott brand standards are consistently followed
• Assist with maintaining an organized, welcoming, and professional Front Desk area
• Help monitor daily operations and address issues as they arise
• Assist with coverage and operational needs when necessary
• Support other departments and hotel operations when needed
• Lead by example and promote a positive team environment
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate will have previous hotel or hospitality experience, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred. We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, approachable, and comfortable taking initiative.
