About our group:
We are a global IT Infrastructure Operations team providing round-the-clock support for IT computing resources worldwide.
About the role - you will:
- Develop agentic AI solutions to automate IT Infrastructure Operations, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort.
- Support IT Infrastructure Operations administration.
- Manage daily operations and administration for RHEL and other Linux distributions, VMware, and Windows across the global IT infrastructure, including VMware optimization and resource monitoring.
- Support global Linux and Windows server deployments.
- Implement and maintain security controls to protect infrastructure integrity.
- Develop and monitor policies, procedures, and standards for the global server environment.
- Perform global server operating system patching using tools such as ManageEngine and Katello.
- Document completed tasks in accordance with established standards.
- Apply sound judgment when selecting methods and techniques to resolve issues, working independently on routine tasks with general guidance for new assignments.
About you:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering
- Strong systems administration and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of RHEL, VMware, and Windows administration
- Knowledge of RHEL, open-source tools and services, clustering, and automation scripting
- Experience supporting global infrastructure across ESXi hosts and bare-metal servers
A proactive, forward-thinking mindset with creative problem-solving skills
- A collaborative team player who can work effectively with virtual, global, cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Solid understanding of networking, storage, and hardware architectures
- Flexibility to work varying hours based on business needs
Your experience includes:
- Strong Linux administration skills, preferably with Oracle Linux, CentOS, or RHEL
- Systems administration experience, particularly in Linux environments
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Linux, Windows, and VMware administration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with operating system patching, server deployment, and remote console management
- Knowledge of RHEL, open-source tools and services, clustering, and automation scripting
- Experience with IT service management tools such as Freshservice, ServiceNow, or Remedy
