What role will you play? (Key Responsibilities)

- Prepare and adapt artwork for cosmetic packaging , including labels, cartons, tubes, bottles, jars, pouches, sleeves, and outer boxes.
- Convert approved designs into accurate, print-ready production files .
- Check artwork for correct dimensions, bleed, trim, safe area, resolution, fonts, images, and color specifications .
- Work with CMYK, Pantone/spot colors, metallic colors, white ink, varnishes, and special finishes .
- Prepare artwork according to different printing processes such as offset, flexographic, digital, screen, and gravure printing .
- Work accurately with packaging dielines, folds, cuts, creases, perforations, and technical layers .
- Ensure correct placement and readability of ingredients, usage instructions, warnings, claims, batch/lot information, MRP, manufacturing details, barcodes, and other mandatory product information .
- Check barcode placement and readability and ensure sufficient clear space around barcodes.
- Manage overprint, knockout, trapping, separations, and spot-color specifications .
- Prepare print-ready PDFs and other required production formats.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight checks before releasing artwork to printers/vendors.
- Coordinate with Graphic Designers, Brand/Marketing, Product Development, Regulatory, Quality, Procurement, and external printers to resolve artwork-related issues.
- Review printer proofs, digital proofs, and physical samples to ensure accuracy against approved artwork.
- Make technical corrections and revisions without compromising the approved design.
- Maintain proper file naming, version control, artwork archives, and master files .
- Ensure that the latest approved artwork is always released for production.
- Manage multiple SKUs and artwork changes while meeting strict production timelines.
- Support new product launches, packaging changes, and artwork localization requirements.

Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign .
- Excellent understanding of packaging artwork and pre-press production .
- Strong knowledge of CMYK, RGB, Pantone/spot colors, color separations, and color matching .
- Knowledge of bleed, crop marks, trapping, overprinting, knockout, dielines, and print finishing .
- Good understanding of different packaging substrates and printing techniques.
- Ability to work with vector artwork and high-resolution images .
- Knowledge of barcode specifications and packaging artwork requirements .
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with product text, ingredients, quantities, claims, and regulatory information .
- Ability to identify artwork errors before files are sent to production.
- Good organizational and file-management skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple SKUs simultaneously.

What makes you a perfect fit?

- 2–5 years of experience in pre-press, packaging artwork, print production, or a similar role .
- Experience in the cosmetics, FMCG, pharmaceutical, food, or personal-care industry will be an advantage.
- Experience working with packaging printers and vendors .
- Experience handling multiple SKUs and frequent packaging revisions.
- Knowledge of premium cosmetic packaging and special finishes such as foil stamping, embossing/debossing, spot UV, matte/gloss varnish, and metallic inks is preferred.
