Position Summary:
The Uniform Room Attendant will issue and maintain Team Member uniforms. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resorts ELITE company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
2. Dispense uniforms and garment bags quickly and efficiently.
3. Set up new Team Member accounts and process, complete and file all relevant forms properly in specified computer system.
4. Scan and report dry cleaning, count, and bag soiled garments. Stock and hang clean garments.
5. Maintain an orderly and neat work place.
6. Receive shipments and supplies.
7. Flag garments in need of repairs and do minor alterations as needed.
8. Wash and dry Count Teams uniforms, rags, linens and other items/uniforms as needed.
9. Distribute paychecks, flyers, and handouts as necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
2. Previous uniform room experience preferred.
3. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in the English language in both written and verbal form.
4. Establish and maintain effective working relationship with fellow Team Members.
5. Must be at least 18 years of age.
6. Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Requirements:
1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
2. Ability to climb, bend, and lift items weighing up to 20 lbs.
3. Ability to use equipment including but not limited to a telephone, washing machine, and dryer.
4. Ability to stand and sit for prolonged time periods.
5. Ability to reach a height of up to six (6) feet with or without assistance.
Work Conditions:
Work is typically conducted in the uniform room area, which may be hot, cold, and noisy. Team Members may be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull, and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of an assigned area. Team Member must possess proper safety training in the use of chemicals. Frequent contact with fellow Team Members is standard.
