Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

- Manage tax compliance for the Malaysian entities including corporate tax filings, with holding tax filings, transfer pricing documentation, stamp duty, tax governance and tax control framework
- Manage quarterly tax reporting's (deferred and current tax calculations, uncertain tax positions, etc ), oversee tax payments
- Support BEPS Pillar 2 compliance, manage tax audits, coordinate with the finance and accounting team to ensure accuracy of tax balances and disclosures, tax advisory support.
- Act as the primary contact for regional tax teams, external consultants and auditors, support tax technology projects

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, or related field. Professional qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CA, CTA, or equivalent)
- 7-10+ years of tax experience in a multinational company, Big Four firm, or combination there of.
- Strong experience in corporate tax compliance and tax reporting.
- Experience managing tax audits and tax authority interactions.
- Familiarity with transfer pricing requirements.
- Experience with BEPS Pillar Two reporting is increasingly desirable.
- Experience in tax technology projects is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian corporate income tax and indirect taxes.
- Understanding of international taxation and transfer pricing. Knowledge of IFRS tax accounting (IAS 12).
- Experience with tax reporting systems and ERP environments (e.g., SAP). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong project management skills. Leadership and team development capabilities.
