## Summary of the Role

As a Release QA Engineer, you'll help ensure high-quality product releases by developing effective testing approaches, supporting automation initiatives, and promoting continuous quality practices. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and contribute to informed release decisions.

In This Role You'll / Your Main Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain testing strategies, plans, and coverage to support functional and non-functional quality objectives across product releases.
- Design, execute, and improve manual and automated testing activities, including regression, integration, system, end-to-end, and application programming interface (API) testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate quality practices into Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and development processes.
- Track, document, and help resolve defects while providing quality reporting, testing insights, and release readiness recommendations.
- Coordinate performance testing activities, including script development, scenario execution, metric monitoring, analysis, and reporting to support system reliability and scalability.

About the Ideal Candidate

- Experience in software testing and Quality Assurance (QA), including Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Robot Framework or Playwright and programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools including TestNG, JUnit, Postman, and Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs.
- Good collaboration, coordination, and communication skills, including professional English proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

Experience in software testing and quality assurance, including release validation, test automation, and performance testing.

Experience applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) in quality assurance may be beneficial.
