Job brief
The Service Center Technician is a hands-on role responsible for assembling, testing, and packing technical devices before they are shipped out, in line with sales order requirements, ensuring products work exactly as intended and are free of defects. The role also covers the processing of returned technical equipment and meeting deadlines for tasks and projects. Service Center is located in Amstelveen.
Responsibilities
- Assemble devices according to work instructions
- Package and prepare products for shipment to customers
- Program technical devices
- Process calibrations and sales orders
- Perform all relevant tests on devices
- Maintain equipment and tools
- Manage specific projects and tasks as required
- Meet accuracy and timeliness targets
- Assist team leaders with process improvements
- Check for defects and identify potential quality issues
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in project management as needed
- Train new employees
- Follow work instructions carefully
- Follow safety measures, communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
Requirements
- Experience in production and assembly processes preferred
- Ability to read and carefully follow instructions
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and/or supply chain management preferred
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Solid understanding of product quality
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on work in a production/technical environment
- Experience working in a dynamic technical environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to work in teams and lead by example
- Good English verbal and written communication skills

- Salary from €2,700 to €2,900 gross per month based on [38/40] hours per week
