About the Job:
Allianz Technology is looking for an experienced Communications Expert to lead internal and executive communications across our Hungary Hub and Central Europe region. Based in Budapest, you will be the communications partner for regional leadership and for the people across our offices in Hungary and the Central Europe region. You will own communications strategy, messaging, and content for Head of Hub/Head of IT–led or all-employee topics. The role reports to the Head of Hub Hungary and Head of IT Central Europe as primary stakeholders, with a functional reporting line to the Team Lead, Strategy & Regional Communications.
What You Do:
- Apply the Allianz Technology Global Communications and Change strategy to the region, ensuring one consistent voice, narrative, and visual identity across all countries and channels, in line with Allianz brand standards.
- Develop and deliver the communications plan for Hungary & Central Europe, translating global priorities and campaigns into clear regional and local plans with defined objectives, audiences, and channels.
- Act as a trusted communications advisor to the Head of Hub Hungary & Head of IT Central Europe and their leadership teams, advising on executive messaging, talking points, and Q&A.
- Create engaging all-employee communications content in English across internal channels such as emails, newsletters, SharePoint, presentations, and events.
- Lead the communications workstream for CE regional and local Hungary all-employee events (e.g., townhalls), including key messages and content, agenda and format development, and post‑event follow‑up.
- Support change and transformation communications, helping leaders and employees understand what is changing and why.
- Strengthen employee engagement through communications, including promoting the Allianz Engagement Survey & Pulse Checks and helping leaders share results and next steps.
- Provide approved communication templates, examples, and practical guidance so local/operational teams can deliver team‑specific communications and smaller events consistently, on message, and on brand.
- Track and report on the impact of communications, using insights for continuous improvement.
- Apply issues and crisis management across the region in close coordination with Global Communications.
What You Bring:
- University degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience in internal, corporate, or executive communications, ideally in an international or multi‑country environment.
- Business fluency in English with excellent writing and storytelling skills; ability to turn complex topics into clear, engaging communication.
- Confidence advising and partnering with senior leaders; strong stakeholder management, interpersonal, and intercultural skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; proactive, self‑directed, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast‑moving portfolio.
- High proficiency in MS Office and intranet technologies (SharePoint, Viva Engage); strong visual communication skills using PowerPoint or Canva (Claude Design an advantage); Hungarian, Slovak, or Czech an advantage; strong interest in technical/IT topics.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
