About this role
We are looking for an experienced, client-focused Learning Management System Senior Consultant to join our Learning Technology (LTech) team. You will lead functional workstreams and help clients transform learning operations by designing, configuring, implementing, and optimizing Cornerstone Learn solutions that are scalable, intuitive, and aligned with business and learner needs. You will combine deep learning-process knowledge, strong platform expertise, and confident stakeholder leadership. You will own significant parts of the delivery lifecycle, guide junior colleagues, manage risks and design decisions, and act as a trusted adviser from discovery through deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Required
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, administering, or supporting Cornerstone LMS, including ownership of complex functional workstreams or comparable cloud-based LMS solutions. • Strong understanding of learning administration, including catalogs, curricula, sessions and events, enrollments, assignments, transcripts, certifications, compliance learning, and reporting. • Proven ability to lead discovery workshops, challenge requirements constructively, and translate complex needs into scalable designs, configurations, and decision documentation. • Experience leading functional delivery across implementations, multi-country rollouts, enhancements, releases, or application-management engagements. • Deep knowledge of organizational units, user and group structures, assignment profiles, security roles, permissions, constraints, and administrator operating models. • Experience defining test approaches, overseeing functional and regression testing, leading UAT readiness, prioritizing defects, and driving resolution. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, executive communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills. • Ability to plan functional work, estimates, dependencies, risks, and priorities across multicultural, distributed teams. • Fluent English, written and spoken; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Nice to have
• Cornerstone Certified Professional credentials across relevant Learn capabilities, or equivalent learning-platform certification. • Experience with Cornerstone Learn+, Learning Experience, Extended Enterprise, Content Studio, or related talent modules. • Experience with SCORM, AICC, xAPI, external content providers, content connectors, and learning-content governance. • Knowledge of data migration, inbound feeds, SSO, SAML 2.0, APIs, SFTP, HRIS integrations, and identity-management concepts. • Experience with dashboards, learning analytics, compliance reporting, release management, change management, and user adoption. • Experience coaching consultants, reviewing deliverables, estimating work, supporting proposals, or contributing to practice development.
• Lead functional workstreams across end-to-end Cornerstone Learn implementations, enhancements, multi-country rollouts, and post-go-live support. • Plan and lead discovery sessions, align stakeholders, and analyze complex learning, compliance, administration, reporting, and operating-model requirements. • Own solution designs, configuration workbooks, user stories, process flows, traceability, fit-gap outcomes, and design decisions. • Design and oversee complex configuration across organizational structures, security, learning objects, catalogs, curricula, sessions, enrollments, certifications, and assignments. • Lead design playbacks and governance forums, present options and recommendations, document trade-offs, and guide clients through approvals. • Define the functional test approach, review scripts, coordinate SIT and UAT readiness, lead defect triage, and provide release-quality assurance. • Lead functional data-migration activities, including mapping, validation rules, reconciliation, and data-quality governance. • Act as the functional lead with technical teams for SSO, HRIS feeds, APIs, connectors, file-based integrations, notifications, security, and reporting. • Shape enablement and transition approaches, overseeing administrator training, documentation, knowledge transfer, and support readiness. • Advise clients on learning governance, administrator operating models, process optimization, platform usability, release management, and sustainable ownership. • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, manage expectations proactively, and act as the escalation point for functional matters. • Coach consultants, review deliverables, support workload planning, and build a high-quality, inclusive delivery culture. • Contribute to proposals, estimations, solution presentations, reusable assets, and growth of the LTech practice. • Stay current with Cornerstone releases and learning-technology trends, translating changes into client impact and reusable team guidance. Leadership expectations • Own outcomes, not only activities, and maintain clear visibility of scope, quality, risks, dependencies, and decisions. • Create alignment between business, learning, HR, IT, security, data, and change stakeholders. • Balance standard-platform adoption with justified client requirements and sustainable administration. • Provide actionable feedback and coaching while setting a strong example for quality, collaboration, and client service. • Identify follow-on value opportunities responsibly and support the creation of credible solutions and estimates.
• Opportunity to lead international learning-technology and HR-transformation workstreams. • Exposure to global clients, industries, learning models, and complex implementation landscapes. • A collaborative, supportive, and inclusive team culture. • Continuous learning through platform certifications, technical training, and professional development. • Clear career progression within a growing Human Capital and Learning Technology practice. • Opportunities to mentor colleagues, build reusable assets, and influence how the practice delivers. • Flexible and hybrid ways of working. • The opportunity to shape practical solutions and make a visible impact for clients and learners.
