Job Description

About the Role

Employee Services provides end-to-end HR operational support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding, employee data management,background screening, and HR risk and compliance.

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations professional to serve as a key subject matter expert within the team.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex operational issues, driving resolution through strong problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration.
- Partner with HR teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver seamless employee lifecycle services and an exceptional employee experience.
- Ensure the integrity of employee data and records within HR systems, supporting accurate reporting, governance, and decision-making.
- Support the execution of background screening, work pass, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and enhance operational processes, contributing to improved efficiency, risk management, and customer experience.
- Monitor operational risks and controls, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, MAS requirements, internal policies, and audit standards.
- Support the Team Lead in operational oversight, workload prioritisation, stakeholder management, and implementation of strategic and transformation initiatives.
- Provide guidance and coaching to team members, fostering knowledge sharing and operational excellence within the function.

Requirements

- Degree holder with at least 6-8 years of relevant experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, Employee Services, or a related operational environment, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes, operational controls, and service delivery frameworks.
- Familiarity with employment regulations, MAS Guidelines on Fit and Proper Criteria, Representative Notification Framework (RNF), and HR risk and compliance requirements will be advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage complex operational issues, influence stakeholders, and drive process improvement initiatives.
- Experience in HR systems and digitalisation, process automation, or transformation projects is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Service-oriented, highly organised, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A proactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset and passion for delivering excellent employee experiences.
