Work Experience
Job Summary
Looking for a Service Parts Engineer to support aftermarket engineering activities, Service
BOM management, product structure maintenance, and engineering data analysis. The
role involves working closely with design, manufacturing, supply chain, and service teams
to ensure accurate service parts information and product data management.
Key Responsibilities
• Create, update, and maintain Service BOMs and product structures in PLM systems.
• Perform BOM analysis, validation, and data quality checks.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Support service parts identification and aftermarket engineering activities.
• Maintain product structures, configurations, and service documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve parts and BOM-related issues.
• Generate reports and support process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards.
Mandatory Skills
• Mechanical Engineering background.
• Experience in BOM Management and Product Structure Management.
• Knowledge of PLM systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
• Windchill PLM.
• Product Configuration Management.
• Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECR).
• Aftermarket Support / Service Parts Engineering.
• VBA, Power BI, or Python.
• Engineering databases and reporting tools.
