Job Summary

We are seeking a Hydro Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in the design and

development of hydraulic and mechanical systems used in industrial equipment, power

generation, heavy machinery, or turbomachinery applications. The ideal candidate should

have strong expertise in hydraulic components, piping systems, mechanical layouts, and

3D modeling using Creo.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop hydraulic and hydro-mechanical systems and components.

• Create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Creo.

• Design hydraulic circuits, piping layouts, manifolds, reservoirs, and support

structures.

• Select and size hydraulic pumps, valves, actuators, accumulators, filters, and

associated equipment.

• Prepare engineering calculations, technical documentation, and BOMs.

• Review customer specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Support manufacturing, assembly, testing, and commissioning activities.

• Conduct design reviews and implement engineering changes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including controls, electrical,

manufacturing, and service engineering.

• Resolve field and production-related technical issues.

Work Experience

Strong experience in Hydraulic System Design.

• Proficiency in PTC Creo (Part Modeling, Assembly, and Detailing).

• Knowledge of hydraulic pumps, valves, actuators, cylinders, accumulators, and

filtration systems.

• Hydraulic circuit development and schematic interpretation.

• Mechanical design and engineering drawing preparation.

• BOM creation and product structure management.

• GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.

• Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Windchill or other PLM systems.

• Power Generation or Gas Turbine auxiliary systems.

• Lubrication Oil Systems (LOS).

• Fuel Gas and Hydraulic Starting Systems.

• Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) interpretation.

• FEA exposure using ANSYS or similar tools.

• Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECR).

• Experience with skid-mounted equipment packages.
