The Opportunity
As the Billing Specialist , you will be responsible for reviewing and processing billing data to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant billing of healthcare services. You will play a key role in maintaining billing records, preparing claims, resolving discrepancies, validating billing details, and supporting month-end deliverables.
What You’ll Do
- Generate, review, and submit accurate billing data based on contracts, services rendered, and orders.
- Prepare, review, and submit accurate medical claims in accordance with payer guidelines.
- Ensure claims are submitted within timely filing requirements and resubmit rejected or corrected claims as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient information in relevant Acelis Connected Health data management systems.
- Apply knowledge of company processes and procedures to respond to incoming communication from insurance companies, patients, and internal departments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- College diploma or equivalent; additional education, particularly in management or healthcare, is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare accounts, preferably with Revenue Cycle Management experience.
- One to two years of data processing experience preferred.
- One to two years of customer service or provider relations experience preferred.
- Proficiency with technology, including computers, software applications, and phone systems.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of company products, policies, and services.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a team-focused approach.
- Strong professional communication, writing, organizational, and time management skills.
- Basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook experience required.
- Demonstrates proficiency and accuracy using Alere Home Monitoring data management systems related to the job function.

Work Schedule Requirements
- Must be able to sit at a standard workstation for extended periods.

- Must have the ability to report to work on time and work the entire assigned shift.
- Must be able to work a night shift from a minimum of 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM Philippine Standard Time .
