Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our plant in Kistelek, Hungary . This role is responsible for carrying out planned maintenance activities and urgent repairs to reduce downtime, prevent equipment failures, and minimize operational disruptions.

Your Responsibilities

- Ensure the daily assessment of machine condition and collect data by machine group
- Evaluate the data and prepare a maintenance plan based on the analysis
- Plan and schedule approved maintenance activities (preventive maintenance and shutdowns) in line with defined objectives and production requirements
- Ensure the availability and appropriate use of materials required for maintenance and monitor processes from a cost and efficiency perspective
- Optimize resources and prioritize expenditures
- Ensure that the machine documentation for the assigned production equipment is supplemented with drawings of the required machine parts
- Ensure the measurement, determination and optimal setting of the production parameters of the assigned production equipment, and design required components
- In the event of a malfunction, assess the maintenance requirements and perform instrument-based maintenance tasks. Continuously monitor the repair process from the occurrence of the failure until the problem is resolved and propose solutions to identify problems and potential improvements
- Determine the resource and staffing requirements for maintenance and repair tasks, coordinate and supervise the work of maintenance technicians, and ensure that assigned tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards
- Proactively inform the supervisor about problems identified during operations
- Highlight potential risks and opportunities for improvement

Your profile

- Relevant higher education degree in a technical field
- Min. 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Team-oriented, structured, and quality-oriented approach.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Accuracy, reliability, and an analytical approach to daily operational tasks
