About the role

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work in the Waste and Recycling Team at H&F as a Waste Reduction and Recycling Officer. H&F is committed to reducing environmental impacts and declared a climate emergency in July 2019. We are developing our plans to address the climate emergency.

As a Waste Reduction and Recycling Officer, you will be responsible for the proactive management and delivery of new and existing projects on, for example; waste reduction, community reuse, food waste reduction, and waste and recycling service provision.

The Waste Reduction and Recycling Team at H&F is looking for someone who can proactively help increase recycling performance, has excellent communication skills, an understanding of the principles and practices of recycling and waste management and experience in a waste environment delivering improvement projects.
