D&IS Sweden Performance Dashboard
Background
Currently there is a multitude of different and disparate performance related metrics across project delivery and business performance. This creates a complex web of performance related KPIs and metrics, with a need to manually extract data from multiple sources in order to provide regular performance and KPI updates
Problem description and goals
1. Undertake an analysis and develop a mind map of all performance related metrics and KPIs that are currently required and/or exist for D&IS Sweden (project execution, engineering performance, finance, quality, safety, environment, business performance and HR).
2. Benchmark best practices that currently exists within the industry (other sites within Alstom, similar companies, digital visual management centers, dynamic and live digital dashboards, etc).
3. Develop a proposed approach for D&IS Sweden, the focus of which should ideally be a digital visual management center that establishes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at the site level, with the ability (in a live environment) to drill down into further detail at the department and project level (detailed performance indicators). This will also consider the structure aligned to the Alstom Performance Management System (APSYS) to support quality audits, with linkages created to existing KPI data sources.
4. Develop a project plan and implementation strategy to implement the proposed solution.
Prerequisites: Engineering or information systems / data related degree, or similar. Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Qlik or similar, and an interest in performance improvement and change management initiatives
